MSE wedding day make-up

hi guys, you may already know this and perhaps it is just me who wasn't sure about it, but i was talking to the manager at my local body shop recently about bridal make-up and she suggested that they could do me and my two bridesmaids on my wedding day. i asked about charges, and she said there's no charge.
i knew that you could get makeovers free at body shop, but i had written them off because i didn't think you could book them and i didn't want to risk it for my big day. when i said this to the manager, she said that if i book it a few weeks before the wedding, they'll ensure they've got enough staff in to give us full attention. she also said that they'll do as many free trials as i want to try out different looks. she suggested that if i wanted to do it myself (my sister used to work in the body shop and had all the make up training so i was thinknig perhaps she could do it anyway) then i could go in with some friends and they would give us a 'lesson' and then they were always available on the other end of the phone if we had any problems reppeating what they'd taught us.
as long as i can find a hair salon with ok prices nearby, i'm definitely going to go for this. she was so helpful and friendly!
and best of all, free!! woohoo! and numerous free trials -perfect!
hope that helps someone out and sorry if i'm just telling you things you already know!!!

Thats great.
I was going to go to debenhams to one of the make up counters, they dont usually "charge", but you have to buy a lipstick or something.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
Oh I shall certainly bear that one in mind....I hardly ever wear make up and I alwasy regret it if I'm at a do where there's close up photos taken. On the assumption that I'll probably end up in a few pics on my wedding day I was planning on getting some help so this is great news0

Just be careful to check with your local shop though - ours don't do appointments, but if there happens to be someone free when you go in, they will do it....
I just don't want anyone having their hopes dashed.
Check with your local shop - ours is quite a small one, and usually only have 2 staff working! Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0
