I've been a member of test and vote for ages but despite requesting to test everything on offer, I have never received anything at all.

I stopped doing the surveys for a long time as they seemed to take an unusual amount of data before telling you that you didn't meet their criteria. I got another survey through tonight and thought I'd give them another go.

I spent over ten minutes giving very detailed information (and I can do these surveys pretty quickly) regarding the shaving products used in our family. Types, brands, amounts, plus several other questions only to be told that, yet again, I didn't meet the criteria.

I've been doing surveys with different companies for quite a while and personally, I've found the best to be the following:

    Lightspeed Research
    http://gb.lightspeedpanel.com
(Can take a while but fair rewards now given and can mount up quite qucikly)

    TNS
    http://www.mytns.com
(You can get Nectar points with this company. Again, surveys can take a while, but I've found the rewards to be reasonably fair)

    Media Transfer
    http://www.mediatransfer.com
(The points build up quite nicely and again are fair)

    Quickwise
    http://www.quickwise.co.uk
(Not many surveys but again fair reward and you can have the money transferred directly into your bank account if you wish

I do surveys for other sites, but I've found the above ones the fairest payers so far so these are the companies I mainly use.

I have them on my favourites list and just keep doing the odd surveys as they arrive. Every so often I log in to see how much I've earned and we have lots of little treats with the vouchers and ecodes I earn.

To make it easier, I also filter all the survey emails into a separate email folder so that I can do them as and when. Some have to be completed A.S.A.P but most give you a few days or so.

Hope that helps and good luck!

I agree with the general consensus of opinion, they ate a waste of space, been a member for over a year and never been invited to do anything.
I have just spent 20pounds on Amazon, gained from 2 other sites, Valued Opinions and Cedric, these seem to be two of the best sites for surveys etc.

I don't know what others think Trix, but if I were you I would advise anyone on these survey sites to "cash out" for reward vouchers as soon as you hit the threshold. You never know when these people will "revalue" how many points are needed for an Amazon voucher or whatever.

I'd rather "save" them here than in their account!

I totally agree - the other scenario is for the website to disappear completely. I always cash in immediately with sites such as Test and Vote or Pigsback (pigsback in particular have had disappearing and reappearing voucher rewards in the past year so I wouldnt save on-line for anything but keep the vouchers at home or in my in box).

I would also not count on the Tesco Clubcard system to always be the same either - they might just suddenly have a revamp "in the interest of improving our service to our customers" and get rid of all the deals (or some of them). Ditto Nectar (that has already gone down hill - Sainsbury clubcard was much better).

But I digress - just dont save up too many points. As soon as I hit 40,000 I cash them in.

As others on here have said, Ciao and TNS are much better.

Ciao annoy me sometimes, seems most of the surveys I get, I do maybe 5 questions then it tells me I am not suitable.

Can you join the TNS one through their website, or do you have to go another way?

Edit - just seen a link a few posts above mine - DOH!

Edit #2 - OK, that myTNS link - it doesn't appear to have a 'register' button or similar - is it invite only or am I not looking hard enough?

Wouldn't mind joining TNS' long term clothing or food surveys over the phone - get paid £10 each month for essentially a little work... I worked for TNS for 11mths til oct last year, so would be a pro cos i know how it works!!!

Have you seen the new section on the site 'Opinion'
Looks like you can earn points via it,
but then is it worth it?

I've done TNS for 3 month now. They phone me once a week to ask what snacks and stuff I bought and if I rented any videos etc. Just realised I havn't been paid by them...at all.
Got to remember to ask them next time
