I find them to be rubbish, take today for instance, got up this morning to find a email for a survey. I click on the link and get straight to a page telling me I'm not suitable. Why send the email then if before I even have to answer any questions I'm not suitable.

Didn't you click on anything? Not even to say male/female or what country you're from etc...?
They send out the surveys based on something in your profile, but the survey links don't contain any profile information.
A possibility is that the first page of the survey had some sort of IP detection, so when you went to it, it looked up which country you're from and decided you were unsuitable, a fairly simple thing to do.

T&V are OK, not the best but definitely not the worst. I registered at the beginning of October last year and managed to get a £5 Amazon voucher by the end of November (don't do £5 rewards any more BTW). I also have enough points now to order a £10 Amazon voucher. You've got to be prepared to go onto the T&V site every few weeks and answer the Quickvotes and register for the test products, this way your points keep crawling upwards. I've never had anything to test and only a few surveys.

This morning I had a survey from them which I was not suitable for, but at least it told me this after 3 questions rather than 20+.

The survey company which really winds me up is Ciao. I kept a list of the surveys they offered me and in a 3 month period I was offered 18 surveys. After quite a lot of questions (most of which were already available on my profile) I was not suitable for 14, with earning potential of over £20. Of the 4 I completed I earned £4.48. As soon as I have enough to claim a reward I'm resigning from Ciao, because they are such a waste of time for me. It annoys me when they send surveys which my profile already shows I'm not suitable for.

Back to T&V. They are a survey company which plod on, definitely nowhere near as good as Pinecone Research and my TNS, but worth the plodding.

    Hi,

Not sure if this is of interest to anybody but the pixmania vouchers you receive as a reward can only be used on https://www.pixmania.com who sell cameras, camcorders, it ptoducts, computer consumables, etc, and can not be used on https://www.pixmania.co.uk who sell photo prints.
I was really disappointed when I got my voucher as I'd loads of photos to get which I'd been keeping hold of till the voucher came through.
I tried asking them if I could swap it for an amazon voucher but they said no.
Now trying to sell it on ebay.

I have found this site to be really good
    https://www.acop.com
It is an american survey company but works for us here in the UK. I've had a few cheques through them.

    The ones I use are:

www.testandvote.com (good plodding survey site, as discussed above)
www.ciao.co.uk (these annoy me, as discussed above)
www.lightspeedpanel.co.uk (if you want to join these join through pigsback for the points, they are OK but I don't currently complete their surveys because they only enter you into a draw, but this will be changing shortly into collecting points for rewards)
www.valuedopinions.co.uk (another good plodding survey site)
www.juicybrainspanel.com (quite good in that if you don't qualify for a survey they still give you 25p for trying)
www.mytns.com (good in that they pay you in Nectar points and they pay quite frequently with a decent number of points, you do need to have a Nectar card for this though)
www.thats-what-i-think.co.uk (these don't send enough surveys)

I'm also a member of Pinecone Research, but the banner to sign up for this one is quite elusive. Best payer with no messing about as you get £4 in Luncheon Vouchers for each and every survey you complete.

If you join more than one, take my advice and keep a list of them with your user names and passwords. Make sure you complete all the profile information and keep a note of the surveys you complete, when and for how much.

Nice to hear that they do actually send items out to test. Out of interest how many points do they pay you for actually testing a product?
