I have just tried out my brand new epilator, I've done both my bottom half legs....and once I get the hang of it I'm sure it be great! I have slight stubble in places, but I could only bear it for so long...:o anyway, I know I need to exfoliate inbetween sessions, so what should I get?
I don't really want to be spending £10 on some fancy exfoliating product without getting some opinions first please ladies

All you need is some scratchy mitts from superdrug and any old soap/body wash product. The key thing about exfoliating is that you must follow it with moisturising. Your skin will get dry and/or sore if you don't keep it moisturised. Absolutely no need for anything fancy though.
I wax hundreds of legs/bums/backs/don't ask where else, and this is my golden rule: Scratchy mitts and body lotion.0 -

So just some gloves and I can use my normal soap/body wash and then spoil myself with some lovely new cream? :j0 -
Yep, try a really light body oil, or a restorative body balm.0

You've been great thanks! So for the record then, I've never heard or seen 'restorative' anything for the human.....(probably cos I've not looked.....) but anyway, I can just buy a body lotion if I can't find any of the restorative kind can't I?
Gosh what a bizarre conversation I feel like I'm having!0 -
Have a look at spiezia organics for a truly divine restorative body balm!0

Hi, i also use the scratchy mitts with my shower gel and i use a body lotion afterwards. At the moment i am using body shop body butter which smells devine it's the strawberry one ( I did get it at a bargain price thanks to the grab it now boards a while ago). Just don't over exfoliate, it will become very sore!
HTHTreat others how you would like to be treated.

I use a "scratchy mitt" and a moisturising shower creme to exfoliate. Definately agree with the advice to go gently at first. Sore red legs are not a good look, and I speak from experience! Start off gently until you get a feel for how much you need to exfoliate. You can always build up the next time you do it.
I use soap and glory body butter. Its really rich but absorbs well and isnt too expensive.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0
