Hi and welcome.
If it's settled debt why doesn't he ask Abbey to remove from his credit file?0 -
Hi, Many thanks for reply....he has asked abbey to remove it but they state that once it is has been logged with experion then they cannot do anything. These charges were due to an upaid direct debit which they tried to collect several times when he started new job and his wages were not presented in time.....so i now think the only options in my opinion are;
put in writing the intent to take them to the small claims court for removal
from credit file on the grounds that it was illegal to make the charges in the first place................obviously not worried about the repayment of the £160 just want to clear credit history because it has messed his credit up or
contact experion in writing to explain the circumstances and see what they can do?
Anymore advice would be welcome.......Thanks0 -
