Credit Report Issues

Hi all
I have recent got both of mine and my partners credit reports in paper from all 3 providers.
There is a massive error on all of them on my partners. A joint CCJ which was squashed in court and judgement was set aside as they thought the person instigating it (none other than my father!!) was bang out of order and had no right!
It is showing on my DF credit file but not mine.
Do I write to the court to have it removed or the 3 seperate firms?
Thanks in advance!

It depends on exactly why the judgement is still showing.
What should happen is:
1) The court informs the Registry Trust that the judgement has been set aside.
2) They remove the judgement from the official register of judgements and fines.
3) Experian should be notified of this in a weekly update.
4) Experian remove the entry from your report.
So it depends exactly who has failed to do what they should.
If the error is with the court or the Registry Trust (so it is still on the register under your name), then Experian/Equifax/Callcredit can't do anything to remove it from your report until it comes off there.
So a little detective work is required.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
