Hi all
i am having disposable cameras on the table for the reception- funny and action photos from the guests etc
i know they could just put them on a table at the end of the night-
but just wondering whether anyone had seen some kind of box to put them in- similar to to the post box for cards-
obviously looking for MSE ones
or could someone suggest how to make one- bear in mind i am not creative lol- has any one made one?
thanks x

not made one myself... was thinking of asking people to drop it in the wishing well... we are having a wooden planter one which we will be painting etc. i did think about buying with nectar points from argos but seen them cheaper on ebay. need to see size o make sure it will hold all stuff.
to make a box, you can just find a large sized box and wrap in nice paper after cutting a slot in the lid.Proud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0 -
Can I make a MSE suggestion? Skip the cameras, they are outdated. You never really get good pictures with them anyway as people don't take the seriously, instead you get shots of boobs and feet. Instead make free business cards on Vistaprint with a site to upload pictures such as shutterfly and have them on the tables and then send them in the thank you cards.0

Please please don't buy cameras from Confetti even though they're cheap. We had 10 for our wedding, so with processing spent about £100.
We didn't get any photos from them. Two of the cameras must have been dodgy as they had streaks of light on every photo. All the other photos were just dark - you couldn't see anything in them. I think people thought it was bright enough inside not to use the flash. Even those where they had weren't lit properly so the flashes were obviously naff. The handful of photos where you could see something was a kid pulling faces. Which was funny but not worth £100.
People will have their own digital cameras - ask them to send you their photos on discs. All the good candid shots we have are from our guests. If I was doing the day over, I definitely wouldn't have disposable cameras.0 -
hi everyone- sorry you really are not going to put me off having them!- like i said once i get an idea in my head it will not shift.
its not like they are my actual wedding photos- we are having a photographer
also not a lot of kids coming- so i know i can trust the adults
thanks all xIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

That's fine sammy - just please don't buy cheap disposable cameras as they are just so rubbish. Pay a few pounds extra to get them from Boots or somewhere. As I said, we bought the Confetti ones and it was a completely false economy as we didn't get any photos from them.0
