Good Lenders/Brokers???

There are so many awful stories on here about rip-offs, terrible service and downright scams from financial firms!!!

To redress the balance a little, does anyone have any stories about GOOD or otherwise praiseworthy service from any lender or broker?

I really rate Smile as a bank

everyone else Ive dealt with has been pretty bad really if truth be told.

I've always had fantastic service from the Co-op Bank. I had a fraudulent transaction on one of my debit cards recently, and they sent me a new card & refunded the money within a few days. They've always been friendly & helpful on other occasions too.

I've also had a credit card with Bank of Scotland & a loan from Black Horse (Lloyds) - never had any problems with either, although can't say whether they'd be good in a crisis, as nothing went wrong while I was with them!

I like Natwest and Capital One - don't like catalouges particularly Kays - too many clerical errors (always in their favour) and an absolute git to get the money back!
