They're not as daft as they seem, they'll have a record of who the "exclusive" codes are sent to and, those who don't get them and still try to claim the codes can wreck it for all of us. This has all been discussed in previous threads and they contacted Martin about this to put a stop to it.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -

i totally agree, and there must be thousands of people who don`t take up on the offers that they`re sent.0 -
I shop with La Redoute and they do charge interest from the date of despatch of your order if you get anything on approval (free returns tho). Their interest rate is quite high too so credit not advisable with them - they sell some pretty cool clothes tho girls.0

Bah! I couldn't get this to work for me. I got the free £5 discount and P&P with code ****and griddle pan for £2.99 (code ******** but no free cooker. So decided a grill pan I might not be able to use without special cooker not worth using discount on so opted for free manicure set.
codes edited out by MSE Controller 2 - please see end post0 -

You are right Mim Jane and I agree with everything you said. Even though the codes are sent to lots of people I'm sure they record who its sent to and they have charged lots of people the full price if they know they haven't sent that person a code.
If its a general code in a magazine or on their website then its ok but if its been sent to you direct then it shouldn't be shared and they are within their right to charge you the full price.
It will eventually spoil it for everyone if prople continue to abuse their codes.
I dont see why people cant just order a catalogue from them like I've previously suggested and the codes will come through the post and via email on a regular basis. They are very generous with their codes.
We should also respect the guidelines and rules of this site and not post 'individual' codes as it could surely get the site into trouble?Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
What do you mean by "spoil" things, it is just a matter of generosity being spread round a little more. Not everybody with a code is going to use it I'm sure.0

Thanks Quackers.:) I don't think everyone reads the Guidelines above which ask that the source of any code posted should be made known on here, and no "individual" codes should be broadcast, otherwise they're open to abuse.
La Redoute especially have been very "hot" on the code issue in the recent past and a search on this forum will illustrate just how delicate the situation became for those who are unaware.
LR code issues come up time and time again. Perhaps we need the intervention of a Mod. to clarity the situation?Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
