Somerfield Brand Clearance Sale

Just been in Somerfield and bagged loads of bargains. With the Co-op having taken over Somerfield and with the Somerfield name disappearing by the end of the year they have reduced all Somerfield stock by a minimum of 50% across all stores.

Some of the offers I picked up included

Somerfield Colour Washing Powder 1kg 39p
Somerfield Thick Bleach 750ml 39p
Somerfield Simply Value Chopped Tomatoes 15p
Somerfield Tomato Puree 14p
Somerfield Kitchen Foil 200x30m 74p
Simply Value Tomato Soup 9p
Simply Value Tuna 25p
Simply Value Ginger Nuts 15p

and the wine 75cl, Cava £2.49, Australian White £1.99. There's obviously lots more as anything with the Somerfield brand on it is reduced.

Happy bargain hunting:j

Well, as it's Somerfield branded things, it's only likely to be in the previous Somerfield stores, isn't it? I can't see them shifting Somerfield stock into stores that have always been Co-op.

The reductions will get even better :)

Our local somerfield closes tomorrow for 5 days to have a co-op refit, they have had some crazy reductions all week this week on everything food, toiletries even wines and spirits have stocked up nicely :)

We have several Co-ops locally and they have been stocking Somerfield branded goods since the take over, we only had a Somerfield for a very short time when our Kwik Save closed down and since then has gone on to be Netto. May be worth a look anyway. I wont be venturing out as i know i will be buying for the sake of a bargain not necessity.
