This is certainly the first time I have heard of anyone having problems with Payplan - I have only ever heard praise for them.

There is no way that any DMC can guarantee to freeze interest and charges for you (if they do they are lying or trying to get you into an IVA instead).

Creditors will often refuse to freeze interest if they feel that the income and expenditure (financial statement) is unrealistic i.e. very high living costs, luxury items such as gym membership, smoking, social expenses, satellite tv etc - any of these things can make creds refuse to freeze interest and charges

I would have to say one thing. As Payplan are a FREE company, they do say they cannot send out monthly statements e.t.c. This is understandable, these people are helping you get out of debt and not charging fees and relying on sponsorship in order to help you. The costs of phone calls, stationary e.t.c. is as you can imagine a fortune when you are dealing with thousands of people in arrangements.

One thing they do however have is, once you get to the stage when you offers of payments have been sent to your creditors and they have been accepted, you have an online facility to check statements online "Justabank" so you can keep track of your payments and know who is being paid what.

If there was ever a problem Payplan were aware of, they would soon be on the phone to you, if you need them to sort something out, call them, email them or even send a pigeon, they would soon sort it out for you. ;)

    Good luck.
