Just to clarify, we don't allow links to third party sites because we can't monitor them for content and advertising, however good the intention.

The best thing to do if you want to comment on a topic is to do it directly on the forum.

As for not being reprimanded we work on a report an abuse system so if we're not aware of it we can't take action.

It's ironic, isn't it, that one of the most useful posters on this forum gets a virtual slap on the wrists for posting this link, whereas other much more serious breaches of forum etiquette by utterly appalling and misleading posters are allowed to get away with murder.

Given the choice between seeing stuff from Mike which is always useful and informative or tolerating the usual manic (and dangerous) nonsense posted by the likes of Asheron, I know which I'd prefer.

On the subject of dodgy posts, let's not forget MSE's own moment of infamy when it misleadingly suggested you could get some huge rate of interest for NSI bonds recently. That was very quietly brushed under the table, wasn't it?
