Quidco help

After reading some posts on here, I have registered with the Quidco site.

Can anyone offer any guidance?

I am wondering if it is a good idea or not. I have been having a look around the site and trying to search for info on here.

Point me in any direction, I would be most grateful.:j

Thanks

What sort of info are you after? I've used Quidco since february, and it has paid me back for stuff like car insurance, discount of purchases, and rather a large amount from the matched betting referrals.

The way I see it, though, is as an added extra for things I would have been doing anyway. Then when (and if) the money comes through it's a nice bonus. I wouldn't buy or join something just for the referral as it isn't guaranteed to track.

General consensus is that it's a good idea to clear your cookies down before clicking on the link to minimize the risk of not tracking. I use the freebie ccleaner for this, and maybe run it once or twice a month to clear up my other temporary files etc.

  • I was little confused about it at first but it is just because it is so simple. Before u buy any thing on line check to see whether it in in quidco. If it is click on the link in quidco.

This takes u to the store buy as normal. Nothing else to day. wait a day or two and u should find quidco trackign the transaction earning you some commission. Really simple and a great idea.

I always use a seperate browser (firefox) for my quidco purchases in case I forget to clear my cookies in IE or someone else has browsed that site and collected cookies.

Just joined in the last 3 months have already 'made' £200+ from insurance alone!, i was abit sceptical at first, but was reassured from all here :) HTH, goodluck :)
No one said it was gonna be easy!
  • I used to be with edealsuk.com; they don't charge a £5 admin fee like quidco, but they get their money by only giving you half of the cashback (if that makes sense?).

Quidco are superb and definately worth the fiver.

Why didn't I use Quidco sooner?
    Reassuringly expensive

Since joining in May 2005 I have received £1357.71 in earnings. I have spent a fair bit on things i was going to buy anyway, however there are plenty of ways o rake in the cash without too much outlay.
