Things are looking up!

Hello,

have wanted to post this for a few weeks but wanted to make sure it was all confirmed first.

So, we've just moved house from a £700/month to a £550/month flat. Irony is, the new flat, although a one bed not 2 bed, is bigger and much posher!

Also, started my new job week before last and my starting salary will be £16,000 but will earn between £100-200 extra on commission/bonus!

Anyway, what this means is that currently I give CCCS £317/month towards debt. Now I can realistically give (at my basic salary, no bonus) £550/month...debt free in 3 years! :j

Quick question though...just got letter from HSBC saying they're gonna do default/final demand etc on my account if they don't get payment immediately. This is fine. IF the debt goes to Metropolitan it'll probably work out that I can pay my minimum loan repayment and perhaps more a month. Does anyone have any experience in how long these things take to go to MCA? I have 3 missed payments against the loan account, all from giving lower payments via CCCS.

  • Congrats Flower_Chops. Its great when things go your way isn't it? WELL DONE for making the changes happen and not waiting for the illusive lottery win.

As regard to the letter I would ring up CCCS tell them what it says and then post it to them. Let them sort it out. make sure you take a copy first.
