Went to rickshaw a few weeks back. They have been in the village for as long as I can remember!!! V good meal in Thai apart from the fact thatch drank too much wine. Never mind. Think they have reduced their prices as we think they were on a par to juniors in clevedon, but tonight was cheaper. May be because of Bottelinos and jacks.
    (sorry benben).

What a way for DS to find out that his dad is getting married! And  to the daddy being too hungover to do anything bit as well. I feel sorry for the poor deluded person he is marrying. You can only guess what lies he has told her....

Good luck with your holiday list. It looks pretty impressive

Hope you've had a good day today Benben. Yes pink lady and I live in the same town - we found it out just before Christmas 2009 when we had a load of snow!

So ww're home, knackered but happy :) We have had a great couple of days, the weather has been amazing, got a bit sunburnt, bumped into a teacher from school in Legoland, drove round for an hour or so searching for the travelodge ("terminal 5 travelodge" thats nowhere near teerminal 5 ) and generally had a good time :D

Mse wise I've been pretty good I think, I put £25 of petrol in before we went (mum gave me £20 towards it :T), then have spent £9 on car parks , £6 on a refillable drink thing (but used it loads and can use it when we go again over the next year), £5 on ice-creams, £6 on McD's, £5 on tesco cafe breakfast this morning :), and £2 on some sweets. The rest of our food (lunches)I tool with us. I also went into a big tescos and got £38 of stuff (including the new Harry Potter dvd that ds is paying for), and used a £20 dtd voucher so only spent £18 )ds owes me £7 of that from his piggy bank), and should get a decent dtd voucher back again from that too :T

Time now to veg on the sofa for a while :)

Sounds like a fab time! Our passes ran out this week, but we certainly got the use of them (and the refillable bottles!) over the past year - and I am sure you will too!

  • Hey Benben,

So glad you had a fab break! Never been to Legoland yet, but I'd love to take my youngest sister sometime. :)

Been a while since I posted, but don't worry I'm still here and still taking inspiration from you and your diary - you and your motivation still amaze me!

Sounds hopeful on the dating front for you as well, fingers crossed that you find happiness as you deserve it. :)
