Thanks Pooky, I am trying to think positively about the maintenance, and try to view it as an untouchable bank account, but tbh I have no idea when or if I'm ever likely to see any of it; by the summer he may very well not be in a position to go to work, so therefore that could be a while in which he won't have to pay anything or accrue any more arrears either  I just think the system stinks, 5 months without a penny when they know he's been working for the last 3 months

Plans for half-term? Not much idea yet Pooky ... lots of housework, footie tomorrow, coffee with pof man, and not spending much money

WW points have the potential to go a bit wrong today, mum doesn't do healthy food of any sort

Evening all, well today hsa flown by ...
We went to mums this morning, ds played with the dog, dad opened his presents etc, had lunch, then went to the footie. Bournemouth were incredibly unlucky not to win, they totally dominated the game but let in a silly goal right near the end for a draw  Ds enjoyed himself though and behaved well so that was good
Then I dropped him off with his dad before going back to mums for a chinese with everyone, and am now home and tucked up in bed nice and early
Just catching up with emails and mooching on here for a bit before trying to get a fairly early night

Morning all, just running my bath, need to get ready for coffee date this morning
I'm not really that excited about it tbh, not sure he's my type at all lol, but will give it a go
After that I need to focus on sorting the flat a bit, its still a bombsite and I hate it being like this, so that will be a big job. I also need to be careful with what I eat today as I had lots of treats yesterday.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

BB - go for it! I wasn't sure before I went for my coffee date with MrA and he's turned out to be WONDERFUL and I'm blissfully happy with him, he even met DD yesterday and she approves as well. You never know what might happen, he could be Mr Wonderful or a good friend or just a free coffee on a grey Sunday morning.
Good luck!!0 -
Thankyou Kittikins, I know the problem is me, I look for obstacles that aren't even there
I think because I fancied the pants off the ex from day one that unless someone lives up to that then I write them off and I know thats wrong

Good luck with the "coffee".......I thought Mr Pooks was probably one of the most boring people I'd ever typed to the first few times we chatted (we met in a chat room)....turned out in real life he was actually very, very nice.....hence we've been married 9 years."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Good luck with the date, you never know.... and even if there's no spark you may have single friends he'd like and vice versa... does no harm to widen your circle

I will report back later ladies with how it went, I just feel like i'm going for an interview
I'm naturally shy, I can chat away online for hours with anyone, but in rl I go shy ... just hoping that we click as mates if nothing else, I hate that feeling when you arrive and know instantly that you're not interested and have to sit and make polite conversation for a certain amount of time so it doesn't look so obvious that you're wanting to do a runner
