  • Well I haven't been posting much on here today because the bonus I was waiting for was credited and I have done more betting today than I've done for months and months, and basically it all worked in my favour and I bust out with £200ish profit from the offer :j :j

I am one very happy benben tonight :D:D:D I am going to use £45 to clear the Next account, and £30 to take ds to his first proper football match next weekend :D which will leave £125 approx to go into the mortgage pot :T :T I am so so so happy about this, its a decent amount rather than the dribs and drabs of £3 / £4 I've been making recently, and has cheered me up no end :)

Whooooo well done, even with the adjustment later that is a great days work!! More than I earn in a day anyway!! Hope you have many more offers like this with the same if not more profit.

Well done on using some of the money for a treat for you both too, you both need that as much as the mortgage does lol

    Stressed xxx
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Morning all, well the forecasted rain has arrived, its chucking it down here.

This morning we're going with mum to have a look at a dog, she went for a walk down the beach yesterday and got chatting to a lady that breeds and shows tibetan lapso dogs (?). Anyway, she's got one that she can't show as its only got 5 teeth instead of 6 at the front :o, is 6 months old and fully trained, so mum has fallen in love with it and wants us to see it too before she decides, although I think her mind is already made up ;)

Other than that its a bit of food shopping, some more housework and some more compiling the half-term list. Here is the list so far, is basically just a list of all sorts of bits and pieces I've been meaning to do for ever :)
    Half-Term List:
    • get my haircut
    • return library books
    • go to ikea for shelves
    • gut ds bedroom
    • take stuff from garage to the tip
    • gut my drawers/wardrobe
    • move guinea pigs back into the lounge
    • activate Merlin passes
    • sort out life assurance
    • sort out bike punctures
    • coffee date with new guy from pof
    • clean car inside and out
    • investigate buying a mini freezer
    • sort folders for school
    • update recipe binder for ww propoints
Thats it so far but there will be more to be added as i haven't started on the housework / deep cleaning list, although yesterday I got the food cupbaords and the large saucepan cupboard sorted, so maybe if today I can do the other kitchen cupboards (whch aren't too bad at all), then it won't be so much for next week :)

  • Brilliant list - I already have the hairdresser appointment made for myself and 'return library' books is on the calendar too - so i have made a start:rotfl:
I particularly like your 'meet the pof guy for coffee'...lucky you, only old guys want to talk to me on there:o:o
I really need to sort out a new signature!

I wondered who would be the first to spot that one ;):) I think we're meeting next sunday morning, I'm really not too sure about this one though, in some photos (on f/b) he looks quite yummy, but in others he looks a bit of a nerd :o We'll see ...

Its turning into a good day already, been on the freebies board and have just printed off a voucher for a free can of anchor squirty cream, sent off for a free bottle of Innocent orange juice and was looking on my hairdressers website and they have opened a new salon in the next town and have filled in details and been emailed a £25 off voucher to use there :j Woohoo, seeing as I'm planning on getting my hair done next week anyway that will be very very useful :D

Right, now time to get up ;)

So we've been to see the dog, very well trained (breeder shows at Crufts), very cute and not yappy like lots of other little dogs ;) Mum is collecting him on wednesday for a weeks trial.

After that we went to Sainsburys and I ended up spending £45 :o Its all put away now, the rain is still pouring down so am not planning on going out anywhere else today.

Next plan is a nice hot bath and then helping ds with his homework.
