Hi all
I'm looking around for an air purifier and I was wondering if anyone on MSE had used the 'Goodsphere' type? (http://www.goodsphere.com/Default.aspx?val=19_
I'm after something that humidifies, filters and makes nice smells too if possible. But any recommendations greatfully recieved.
I'd be happy to consider any brands, types, etc.
I've got rhinitis (severe) and I'm trying to reduce the amount of stuff in the air.
Cheers all.

The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

The link doesn't work for me, but is it one of those globes filled with water?
If so, I've got a couple of them, but of a different brand. They're excellent.
I wouldn't waste money on the artificial scents. I use things like antiseptics, vinegar, essential oils like tea tree and lavender instead of the scents.0 -
I have one as well and find it excellent using essential oils.
The only downside is , it's quite noisy0 -
My friend's mum has one and swears by it. She puts the lavender scent in it and she says it helps her sleep!
Its a bit big and bulky and does hum and slosh away as it works. I think its a bit overpriced, I know Goodsphere is the original but there's lots of cheap copies around, JML do one but I don't know if its any good. http://www.jmldirect.com/Fresh-Air-Globe-PF2550/0 -
bit of an old thread now I know, but incase anyone is looking for one now.
I wouldnt touch the JML Fresh Air Globe with a barge pole. I have had 2 of these, they are noisy, and rattly. The LED base is awful. the silver paint rubs off, and the leds just flash or stay on. The plug on mine seems to get very hot aswell. Goodsphere aren't too bad, again they are noisy, and there seems to be less and less essences available for them. they are also around £59.99! I recommend going for a Breathe Purifier. https://www.breathe-products.co.uk is the place to go. I have 2 of these and they do a brilliant job. They are cheaper than Goodsphere, the essences are in plentiful supply and there are lots to choose from, and the LED plate which is called Breathe Radiance is great. It has a cluster of tiny leds in the base and they just blend slowly into each other creating numerous different colours, or you can press the switch on the base and the colour will hold where ever you choose. The unit is fire retardent and you can run it all the time. Their customer service is also superb.
give them a go at
