Car finance with guarantor
Hi,
I need car finance and my dad is willing to be a guarantor - I went bankrupt 4 years ago so that is going against me now, but I earn a good wage and pay all of m bills on time now, but I cannot find a company that will help me? Can any1 suggest a company that can help with my finance and my dad being the guarantor?

well
if you earn a good wage and can afford the loan repayments presumably you have been saving that spare cash.... can't you buy a cheaper car with whatever you have saved?
if a loan is absolutely essential, better for him to get a loan in his own name and you just pay him the money each month
consider trying to get a CC like vanquis and pay in full each month to help build your credit rating for the future.0 -
If you were bankrupt within the last 6 years than getting a financial association with your dad by getting him on as a guarantor will trash his credit rating. Is he aware of this?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
Que sera, sera.

If you can afford the payments, just save up each month for the car.
If you need a car NOW and don't have one, just buy an old banger to get you from A to B whilst you save up.0 -
Save up for one!
And
Don't go bankrupt again!Be happy, it's the greatest wealth
