Has anyone tried those sprays that you spray the shower/bath with when you get out to stop them getting dirty ? I clean it after me but I am the only one and as i work full time it means its pretty grubby by the weekend scrub up. Does it work & more to the point is there an old style version that anyone knows of? Vinegar springs to mind but I dont think it quite does the job.
Thank you

th sprays are good, for me there a god send as dd has long hair and covers the shower with conditioner andleaves it to dry everytime she has a shower. I got mine from poundland, can't remember the name (shower shine, something like that). well worth it for the time it saves me scrubbing.

Shower spray is silicon based with antifungal properties. It works on having a clean shower to start and uses the first spray to build a physical slippery barrier to any mould, shampoo etc. Unfortunately the detergents break this delicate barrier down and hence why after every morning set of showers you need to reapply.
Or so I've been told.Tim0 -

So seeing as though my shower is a bit dirty (not mega, but not brand new) - how do I get it really clean to start with?
And then use the shower shine after that as it's not having much of an effect right now to be honest.
Thanks-

I've used the 'daily shower cleaners' before and, although ok, I've since started using a squeegie (sp) after every shower, as does dh, and our shower cubicle looks fab. It also saves money, and doesn't use any chemicals.0

I use a microfibre cloth and a spray bottle filled with diluted stardrops and water and I use this daily when I get out of the shower.
No streaks or water marks.
