Hi
Me and the OH are both struggling with paying off some debts, so we've really cut down our nights out and socialising to pay for it. Unfortunately, we're both really missing our nights down the pub/dinners out/clubbing and the like; and we're really getting really bored of staying in watching TV.
So here's where you guys come in - you're never short of good ideas, so: what's your suggestions for cheap but fun nights in or out? How can we make a night in more than a chore or how can we go out without breaking the bank? (we live in london).
Any and all suggestions welcome!

can you not have friends round to yours and vice versa, all taking turns in cooking and drinking some cheap wine?😁0

also have silly themed events aat yours, invite people round for cheap wine and cluedo, or dig around for old cheesy dvds and videos (we all have some!) and have a "screening" - if you do meals, get one person to bring a side dish, one person to bring dessert etc....
good luck!:beer:Grocery Challenge: target 400: so far spent 247

There's loads of free/cheap things to do in London, you're lucky! All the galleries etc are free, there's some great parks for nice days out in the weekend.
Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square does cheap movies, sign up for the Wagamamas mailing list for 2-4-1 vouchers, visit places like Camden markets, Portobello Rd, Spitalfields (just don't buy anything!).
A lot of the tv programmes are filmed in studios around here and you can get audience tickets for free. I forget the website but google "tv audiences london" and you should find it.0 -
I agree, time out has lists of loads of free stuff to do.
A moonlight walk along the river is always nice, especially in Autumn
I always say being skint in London is the easiest place to be skint, there is so much to do, and stacks of galleries/ architectrure museums/ music/ art events/ festivals for free! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
My suggestion was going to be a lot more basic, if you catch my drift.:D0

But even basic things can be tarted up if you have more time and inclination. If you catch my drift."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
