Hi WhataFool
As the others have said, you're in the right place for help and support, and you've made the first step in facing up to the problem. About 5 years ago I was in a very similar amount of debt to you, also on anti depressants and feeling utterly alone. Fortunately I was given great advice - get a DMP and pay what I could afford.
Do post your SOA and people will offer any help they can. Remember- it's not against the law to be in debt, and just because your telephone is ringing, it doesn't mean that you have to answer it.
Take care, and be proud that you're taking action!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Ain't that the truth!
You're not the only one who's going through this, has felt down, ashamed, embarassed, angry at yourself etc etc. But here's the good news......it can and WILL get better. Especially as you've now recognised the problem and are ready to tackle it!
Good luck!

Whatafool, you are not the only one who can't face the post - i have attempted twice to open mine and sort them all out, but they are still relegated to the book case.

What i did was i asked a friend who knew i was in debt and who wouldn't condemn or berate me, to help me open and face the letters. After all, they are just pieces of paper, they won't bite you and you already know what they are gonna say. If it help, open the post, put the letters in a pile face down, then sort into different the different debts and into date order. Thenk have a break, cup of tea and biccies and write out the template letters.
You will get letters back sayiong that the offer is not accepted but you just need to reply that this is all you can offer.
Also, never sign anything and also write to the debt compaines saying you will only correspond in writing, that way you can ignore the phone calls.
Have you spoken to CCCS or National Debt line? They can give you advise once you know all the figures.
The first step is seeking help, well done for taking it! :TCats don't have owners - they have staff!!
