Second Job info needed

Hi
I have a fall time job working for an employer, but would like to sell craft items in my spare time. How is the best way to approach this regarding paying tax ,NI etc.
I don't think that I will be selling huge amounts of goods but would like to keep everything legal and above board.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

    Welcome to the boards.

Phone your local HMRC office and ask registering as self-employed. Tell them you don't anticipate making a fortune and you should be able to get an exemption from paying self employed NICs.
