Seconded, and I think I will need you more than ever now after the stinky day I have had.
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Hear hear!!!!!!!!
What I like best is the fact that there are loads of people who are interested in the same sort of things as me, who don't think I'm odd (well, no odder than anyone else round here!) and who don't put anyone down because they have to watch the pennies.
I love the sense of community here.
Thank you, all of you! You - we - are so great at encouraging and helping.
Thanks again!1 -

I'd be speaking to you Moggins because I am another mad woman who bakes bread and makes jam and boils up bones1 -

I miss it when I don't get a chance to see what everyone is up to and I hadn't been on here for ages and have just started posting on OS again. Where are some of the fantastic folk that used to be here??

When I find my sanity slipping away ( not that I have much ) I can come here, and talk to lots of like minded, bone boiling, jam making, Mad women:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
And sometimes they talk to me back lol
I agree though it's a wonderful forum and I have learnt so much more than I thought possible. And the lovely people on here, willing to share their wisdom with all of us, makes it an addictive forum to visit.
May it never end:beer:1 -

Here I feel I am with friends, amongdt people who are like minded and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
I am astounded at what others spend and consume, each to their own of course.
Being OS is good for me, my family and our planet. It makes me happy....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

I agree with everything that's been said.
Also having somewhere where you can let off steam, pour out your heart whether bursting with pride or sadness, or just have a really good whinge & get support, encouragement, advice & virtual hugs is wonderful. There are a few really special men who post on here but on the whole it's an excellent example of women being there for each other & sharing what real life's like.
I love it & am so grateful to have found it.1
