  • has anyone been to greggs yet to get one of these? i was wondering if they all had meat in as my oh is vegi? many thanks in advance if anyone knows what the choices are
  • Re: Sun free healthier options wrap

The paper mentions a spicy morroccan-style chicken wrap – a fresh sun dried tomato wrap filled with chicken glazed in Moroccan spiced chutney and garnished with tomato, cucumber and mixed leaf salad. Or the vegetarian option of a fire-roasted vegetable wrap – a fresh sun dried tomato wrap, filled with roasted peppers, courgettes and onions and garnished with a mixed leaf salad and a reduced fat red pesto and red pepper salsa dressing.

    Sounds yummy

Went to Greggs and picked up a nice suprise for hubbys lunch tomorrow. They look really nice and they had either chicken or roasted peppers.

    Thanks for that Welsh Dragon!

Is the offer on friday too? Or do they stay fresh for a couple of days
  • The offer was only on today so with my eye for a bargain I had already cut the voucher out of my own paper. However, when I got to near Greggs decided to get another 2 copies so sat on a bench in the lovely Welsh sunshine had a quick read and tore the 2 tokens out. Then realised that I had no need for the papers so asked 2 construction workers if they would like the papers - which they gladly accepted.

Mr Welshy has just gone to work with 1 of the wraps to eat in work - well it saves me making his sandwiches ! and the others I have kept for tomorrow.

  • The advert for the wrap names two of the 'healthy' wraps they now make, but the voucher is for any wrap in the range (which your store stocks). There were 3 or 4 types in my greggs but only roasted veg left (good as im veg :D).

Also told mum to get one if shes pekish. They had run out but the woman told her she can go tommorow to redeem the voucherfor a free wrap! The voucher itself says 'today only' but has NO DATE. Maybe those of you who missed out can try tommorow ;)

The wrap itself looks very nice but personally i think it was nothing special. It was soggy, messy and i can make better ones myself :o
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
