Credit file wrong
Hi,Just been checking my credit file as want to apply for a loan from the Bank thought I"d see what my credit report was like and found 3 searches for the same day for a place called Black Horse searched on the 26.08.09 never heard of them what can I do to get them taken off:eek:

First, don't panic yet.
Black Horse are pretty well known. Lloyds/TSB
Does it state what kind of searches they are?
Did you get any insurance quotes around that time.0 -
If they are normal searches then they will drop off automatically in around 6 weeks anyway. Replies from CRAs to requests are very slow so you might as well wait it out.
If however, they are "outstanding debt" searches, then you will have to wait until next August before they fall off as they remain for 2 years. If this is the case you can lodge a request to have them removed. Equifax (the one that generally shows this type of search) will probably contact Black Horse to see if there is a valid reason for the search and if they don't get a response they may delete them for you. Nothing is guaranteed though.Remember this: nothing worth doing is easy.0
