Thank-you gift for mum & dad

I am struggling with what to get my mum & dad as a thankyou gift. I really appreciate what they are doing for the wedding (paying for hotel/food and drink) which is half the wedding cost if not more. They have most things and i dont really want to get them anything like perfume/aftershave as you can get that anytime. I would like something different/quirky/a present for both - maybe something they can keep or treasure (Obviously not too expensive)
If anyone can help me i would be really grateful

Thanks in advance x

More than likely they don't want a big gesture gift...
but what about a relaxing weekend away after the event or a pamper weekend before the event ...

Why don't you do a weekend away for you and OH and them after you get married - a chance for you all to relax and enjoy each others company.
Maybe you and your Mum could have some beauty treatments and OH and your Dad go and play golf or something....??
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

Hey, my parents are paying half our wedding cost too. I was trying to think of something to get them. I wish I could afford a weekend away for them but I can't :( So what me and OH are doing is putting a home made 'voucher' in our parent's wedding favours saying that after the wedding we will be ordering them a photo book each of the wedding photos. They will come from somewhere like here: http://www.photobox.co.uk/shop/photo-books/crystal-deluxe-photobook this photobook is £38.99 and looks gorgeous. You may want something simpler for them, or you may find them cheaper at another company, but you get the idea. Its a gorgeous keepsake and not overly expensive. We have 3 sets of parents (OH's are divorced) so something like this would be good for them, and can tailor it for each family. xxx

Hey, after alot of ideas we decided that we will be getting our parents a newspaper from the date of their weddings to give to them as a gift to say thank you. It's sometihng personal and that they can keep. not something everyone would like but we think they will like it.
