sainsburys school uniforms reduced (merged)

Noticed something strange yesterday, a lady came through the tills with bundles of uniform and i checked each one had gone through at half price. The only one that didn't reduce automatically was a 2-pack of boys trousers at £9. Got it checked and apparently they're not reduced in our store.......very odd. Anyway I'm nice so I offered to carry on packing up the womans shopping while she went and found 2 single pairs for half price. Think they were £2.25 a pair anyway so it weorked out the same money and she got one black one grey. Also if you can't find the size ask someone to check for you because there was more to come out.

This was happening today in Edinburgh, don't know if its nationwide but Sainburys were reducing their school clothes to £1 a go. It was boys stuff today aparently girls tomorrow. We picked up lots of grey long trousers reduced from £6 to £1, jerseys, sweatshirts, polo shirts and formal shirts all £1. The polos and formals are £1 a packet of 2.

Thats the kids dressed for the rest of this year, next year and the year after given that school uniform never goes in or out of fashion.

I've just been in my local Sainsbury's and all items of school clothing were reduced to £1.

They had, trousers, skirts, shirts, jumpers, shorts, pumps, mac-in-bags etc. all £1.

I can't say for sure if this is in every Sainsbury's but it would be worth a look if you need any items; or get it in ready for next year. I got a load.

They weren't priced up, it was just the tannoy announcement that informed me so you'd maybe have to ask or get something scanned.

Hi just been into Sainsbury's all school wear reduced to £1 thats shoes, trousers, jumpers, cardigans, bags. daughter already for school till 2008

Just been. Yep, everything £1. The assisstant was just putting out more stuff - mostly shirts and polo shirts though. She very helpfully went through the boxes to get me the right size. The shirts were boys, but everything else was girls stuff, most of it in larger sizes. I got three skirts and two packs of polo shirts. Thanks for the info.

Just been to Fareham Broadcut (Hants) Sainsbury's - Its only got a very small amount but its all reduced. Just got 11 things for DD.

There is a fair amount left of smaller girls/boys sizes (age 5 to 8)not much left for older girls - pretty much nothing for older boys

It is every sainsburys, apprently some stores have loads, whilst the store I work at has hardly anything. So may be worth calling first.

Thanks for the info. Have just been to my local store and bought 3 lots of 2 pack blouses, a skirt, a pinafore, a swimsuit and pumps all for £1 each. Will keep us going a while!!

We bought masses - great age range - from 5-14! They were announced just as we were leaving after our shop! We went back in:)

If you have school kids, hurry down to your local sainsburys. Just come back from mine (Preston), and all schoolwear inc school shoes which were originally around £10-£13 all are down to £1.
