Bankruptcy Map of UK Revealed

Not sure if this is the right place to post or not but there is some really interesting info just published on where most bankruptcies occur:

"The insolvency map, compiled by the insolvency trade body R3, shows the number of new bankruptcies and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) that occurred in England and Wales during 2008 and suggests that the chances of becoming insolvent are almost seventy percent (69.5%) higher in the North East than they are in London."

There is a Map to search your area here: http://ashleyparkdebtsolutions.wordpress.com/2010/07/12/filing-for-bankruptcy-hotspots-revealed/

Hi Tom, I live in the North East and those figures don't surprise me in the least!! We also have a high dependency on the public sector for employment, so things will be even worse with the cuts coming down the road!!

Interesting, a friend's daughter has just been made redundent from the Insolvency Service, you'd think that would be one of the most secure jobs around at the mo.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Think there's a lot of cost cutting going on too, a new IT system was supposed to go live in July (should have gone live 2+ years ago) has also been postponed again.

Redundancies from IS - I can't understand either, numbers are increasing someone has to deal with the cases.
