Here goes... this is my 1st time on the boards after months of reading up on everybody else's threads, i feel it's time to use all the tips i've picked up and start attacking my debts.
they're not too considerable
£1800 tesco cc
£2000 halifax ccc
2 x loans which have bout 3k each left on them
my goal is to be debt free by jan 2012, so my plan is to pay off the cc by next feb and then transfer the remainder of the loans one by one to the cc and pay them off that way.
we'll be better off by £750 a month when we've finished doing it, which really excites me but my other half just rolls his eyes when i explain my plan and show him our budget planner, i wish i could get him to really get on board and support me, beacuse at the end of the day it can only benefit us.

That's almost what I was planning. At least you can pay off more than the set amount.so my plan is to pay off the cc by next feb and then transfer the remainder of the loans one by one to the cc and pay them off that way.
I'm the same, the wife has no interest in my myriad rather confusing spreadsheets! Can't think why!!we'll be better off by £750 a month when we've finished doing it, which really excites me but my other half just rolls his eyes when i explain my plan and show him our budget planner, i wish i could get him to really get on board and support me, beacuse at the end of the day it can only benefit us.
We're spending £858 on debts each month at the moment according to my debt list, which will be nice to get back - it's more than the mortgage!!! Trev. Having an out-of-money experience!
C'MON! Let's get this debt sorted!!0 -
