Hi,
I wanted to start my own diary on here as i read a lot of them and hope it will help motivate me and hopefully others too.
Brief bit about me.....I am 31 at the end of this month and have debts for years that have yo yo'd during that time, seems to improve then something else happens to add to the debt pile.
I am currently at rock bottom financially.
I lost my main job in January this year and a currently working in a pub and making just enough to pay my rent and my car loan. ( i no longer have the car as this was repossessed)...long story!
So today I have decided to start this diary and won't keep you too long i promise.
My total debts as of today are a massive £26,767.52
I am on a mission to get this clear asap, i won't put a timescale at the moment as i have hardly any spare cash to throw at it so my DFD will be somewhere between when i retire or when i die (not very promising).
I will add the total to my signature now and hopefully will start making albeit very small dents at the moment but every penny counts in the end.
Thanks for reading and hopefully i will have some promising things to add shortly.

Hi CCQueen,
Good luck with your mission! I have subscribed to your thread.
Do you have anything you can sell ebay to raise some cash? Have you signed up for opinion sites, cashback websites, daily clicks? Only a little but still better than nothing!

Hi Karenlyth25,
I have been on the site for a long time now so have sold anything i have of any value previously. I have today sold an ink cartridge on amazon though so once posted should be £6 to go to the debts straight away and i have 4 mystery shopping assignments in the next week earning £4 each (only phonecalls but it all counts).
I am feeling quite positive that i can start making progress now so i am definately on a mission. as soon as the money hits my bank its going towards the credit card debt I am tackling the small debts next to number of creditors down and start working towards full and finals for the larger ones.0 -
Hi DFW's
Apologies for starting a diary then not being back for a while but i have good news!
I have got a new job after 6 months of only working part time and i start next week! So I can now make a start at paying my debts off.
Now I will go and update my signature as my priority is to pay my rent arrears off first.
But i am finally on my way to making progress again and can't wait to sart getting the numbers down.
Will report back soon, thanks for reading and for keeping me positive.0
