Thanks OP - perfect timing for my holiday!

Instead of going for the Ipod specific ones I went for the USB chargers - figured they have a wider range of items to charge and were cheaper too.

Hope this is better than the last one I bought for the same price - 3 weeks and it doesn't work anymore - well known apparantly for non apple chargers.
