Hi,
Just wondered if anybody could give me some advice on whether or not I am likely to get a mortgage or not.
My (soon to be) wife and I have seen a property we like on the market for £77000. We currently rent at £450 PCM.
I earn 27k and my wife 21k. I'm a Local Authority worker she's a teacher.
We have 10% deposit available.
Debt wise I owe £12800 on my car (£343
PCM) she owes £9000 (£190 PCM). We have one CC with a balance of £2600. Payments on this vary between £100 and £400
PCM although I have set up a standing order to pay it off at a flat £300 PCM. We also pay £33 PCM on interest free credit for our wedding rings, about £800 left on that. Other than it's our student loans that come
straight off our wages.
Take home pay between us is £2800. Last
time I checked we were fine credit wise,
no defaults.
Would appreiciate anyones advice. Cheers.

Some of the lenders have affordability calculators which you could use and put this info into.
See what the computer say!!!!!!0 -
You want to borrow £69,300
You will be fine in terms of a lender agreeing that for you.
Just look at the monthly repayments to make sure they will be affordable now and in the future.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
