Best Mobile Phone for doing Mystery Shopping Reports

I want a phone that is going to be good for doing my MS reports, e.g. RE, GR, my current W995 is OK but doesn't work with Adobe and hates GR website too. Problem is due to the tariff I'm on with O2 which is quite good I don't want to change it which straight away means I can't get an I-Phone or a Blackberry as this would mean changing tariff.

Any recommendations please. I am sure I have seen this discussed somewhere before but I could be on any one of the MS threads

Thanks

Have a look at the Samsung Omnia.

Far cheaper option than expensive iphone but with all the same features (plus the apps are free)

Can deliver emails from alerts sites, has Google maps to find where the shops are, has camera with document reader to photograph your receipts and also has video. Runs on Windows mobile so you can use MS word and Excel and copy to and from your computer. Has voice recorder for notes. If you download the iGO8 programme then you also have satnav on your phone (it has GPS built in) to give you voice directions to the shops. Has wifi so you can get on the Internet from wifi hotspots

You can get an unlocked i900 model for less than £80 on Ebay and then run it on an Asda PAYG sim card
  • That sounds really good, I'm not normally a fan of Samsung's and I've never had a touch screen before and I'm not sure I'm going to like them but this sounds like it will do everything I want it too. Scotsbob, do you use it for MS'ing? Does it work with all the normal MS websites? Also, can you upload/open attachments, etc?

    Thanks

Yes I use it for MSing
I can't answer for all MS websites, but it works for the ones I use.
I have never uploaded but it does download all attachments in my emails.

Have a look on Youtube and you can see people demonstrating it.
