Thank you, the sample wasn't from a rep (you'll see why on the other Avon thread;)) it was from the freebies board on here.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

I would say no, I just washed and conditioned as normal and used the product as directed, I would think its a waste if you put in and then rinse it out as its a leave in product but it certainly helped the condition of my hair even after one use, hope it hurrys up and arrives now;)
Hi Glowgirl, I don't mean to rinse it out, I mean to use as a leave in conditioner.0 -

Hi, if you mean instead of a conditioner I would say no, but I did find the product seemed to make my hair feel in better condition and certainly made it look better, I would use both as I did the other day but again its experimentation for your own hair:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
I used my sample today. my hair is in very bad condition terrible dry and frizzy this is the first thing that really worked i was so pleased i just ordered three full size ones.0

Wow this sounds great, is the freebie still available?
Glowgirl if no one took your frizz ease, I would be happy to take it off your hands, was going into town tomorrow to buy some, and its SO expensive!Aim - BUYING A HOUSE  by November 2013!Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j0 -

I've got a sample, can I still use my hair straighteners if I use this product? I'm always a bit wary of 'leave in' products and straighteners, in case the product burns on my hair or something! I don't like my hair unstraightened, it's not curly or wavy, it just kinks in odd places and looks bizarre!!0

The Avon catalogue just states 'apply to damp hair then dry and style as normal'. Doesn't mention anything about whether you can or cannot use straighteners although, thinking about it, if it did it would sort of defeat the object of buying the product in the first place! :rotfl:
I've used my ceramic straighteners after using it (don't always do now as my hair seems to get better the more I use Lotus Shield) but if I'm going anywhere special I just sort of feel better if I've used my straighteners - bit like putting 'natural' make-up on I guess. Another new product coming out in the next book is Avon's Split End Mender - I like that too, in fact, am going to see how long I can go without having my hair trimmed because I really only go to have my split ends cut off. Could be quids in!Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
