Morning all
I've recently taken to knitting loads of new born baby hats and cardigans with all my left over wool.
Does anyone know which charity/hospital I can send these to?
Your help would be appreciated, as the bag is getting fuller and fuller
Thanks

There are quite a few neonatal units in hospitals in essex, just take them to the one closest to you.

Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust,
Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust ,
Basildon and Thurrock University Hosptials NHS Foundation Trust, Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
It would be a big help if you did some for premature babies as these are the ones that need most help. When somebody has a premmy baby it's usually very unexpected so the family have nothing that fits the baby.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Having had a baby spend time in a NeoNatal unit last summer, can I please make a plea for you to take them to your nearest unit (as listed above), they are generally crying out for warm clothes for babies once they reach "nursery".:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

As Penny says, do come over and join us on Knit a square,we`re a very friendly bunch and we have lots of different places which would love your goodies.
As the others have said, some neonatal units are very glad to have little hats (and cardies )for the tinies but you might be best to phone the ones nearest you first as some of them don`t use knitted hats.
If your cardies and hats are more newborn size we can point you in the direction of other worthy causes.
Hope to see you over there soon.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.
