How much does your gym charge per session?

Just wondering if any of you pay per session, and if so, how much does your gym charge? Would also be interested to here about monthly fees.

I've decided to go to the gym to use the treadmills, but just on days when it's too windy or hot to run outdoors so I'll probably pay per session. There's a little gym local to me and it's £3.50 - is that just about the going rate?

£5.10 here. Monthly is up to £40 (there's peak and non peak)
    Induction charge is £30.
    Open times are until 9pm Mon-Fri, until 2pm on a Saturday/Sunday

Probably needless to say ... I've never been in it :)

My local council gym is £6.20 a session (or was when I went in Feb, prices do tend to rise in April so it may well be more).

(The gym I am at now,- not a council gym, it works out to £3.30 if I break down the cost over the month- and I get a free towel! So not rating my council for their gyms, caught enough infections there to never want to return...)

There was me thinking that £3.50/session was steep :o Yet at the same time, I think nothing of wasting £3.50 on a takeaway.

Need to get my priorities straight, clearly.

I think it's around £4.20 at the leisure centre I use. I pay for annual gym membership there though (they stopped allowing monthly payments) which was £265 when I renewed a few months ago - seeing as I use the gym 5 or 6 times a week it works out at around £1 a session.

My gym is £20 a month and theres no peak or off peak. It's pretty small though and is part of a local church. Other gyms in the area are £30+ per month
