The cheapest Ive found is the one at the end of my leg - its called a foot and works everytime :)

However i do advise the wearing of a shoe whilst operating said equipment

I've seen one recently in either the Betterware or Kleeneze catalogues that I irritatingly get left outside my door even though I have a sticker on my door that say I do not buy stuff sold on the doorstep. Sometimes I look at them and am tempted to buy, but then never get round to it!

Hi Guys, ever thought that the Council might not want the cans pre-crushed

When the Council come to bale them for transportation in bulk the cans lock together in self sustaining bales. However if they are pre-crushed they do not lock together so well or at all and fall apart.

Your good intentions, usually for space saving reasons at home, may cause severe problems down the line. If the cans are handled loose then NO probs

Interesting wee practical trial for you Place an identical empty can in each hand with palms facing upwards and can lying on its side

Both cans feel the same weight ( obviously 'cos they are the same weight )

Now crush one can by chosen method described earlier ...ideally by squashing end to end

Now repeat weight assessment exercise and see if they are both the same weight

It is a good experiment for kids but the best bit about it is that dad has to drink two cans of beer first

    Cheers
