I got a lovely light wooden one from Hobbycraft - think it was only about £6.99 or so

I made a small posy to attach to the top and it tied in nicely with our colour scheme. (Which was gold/ivory)

Lidl and Aldi quite regularly have artists easels on offer - they are wooden, but if it's your own, you can spray paint it gold.
Although, to be honest - you could just drape some gold fabric over the stand and it would cover it and save you a fortune.
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

she said they will be getting some after that to provide and will be stating that in their brochures but they will only be wooden ones?? - although they may come free for us to lend it will look really odd with my colour theme so i much prefer to pay a small amount fot it to all tie in.....

It'll look fine - people won't notice little details like that.
Might as well save your pennies :money:

Can't you ask them if they have a flip chart stand. I find it hard to believe that they don't have one (our venue is providing ours (and it is not listed))
