The Tube in London (Bakerloo line, ugh) is unbelievably, inhumanely hot, as well as the train service from Waterloo to where I live, and in addition we don't have decent air conditioning at work. I was talking to someone from Barcelona the other day, and apparently they have air conditioning on all their trains. I can't understand why we cannot at least have windows on trains that can be properly opened, like we used to have, and like you still have in sensible countries...lunacy.

I see men in suits and don't know how they can stand it – but I also see more and more men taking the sensible option and wearing flip-flops. Some may even change before they leave their offices.

BTW, my (quite sporty-looking male) next-door-neighbour has a really nice pair of black patent leather flip-flops. Look really nice and quite smart on a chap.

i just see secretaries flouncing around in little summer dresses, sandals etc. they look cool (in the heat sense). yes, it is air conditioned here, but its still hot.

i just think women have the best of it in the heat.

Until I got into the shower, i hadn't realised how overheated i had become.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
