unenforceable credit agreements question

Hi All,

Fairly new poster, long time lurker.

I didnt want to just jump right into the other thread as nobody there knows me and didnt want you all to think I was being rude.

I have two questions

First one being once a debt has been sold on to a collection company (that being capquest) can you still send off the template letter to start the process of trying to have it made unenforceable?

Secondly in the process of starting a dmp once this is in place I guess trying to make the debt unenforcable is a no go?

Many Thanks to anyone who may be able to help

Any decent DMP company will still make you pay unenforceable debts, these are the charities - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2077631

As to CCA request, you can do it with DCAs, they just forward it to the original creditor. Still have 14 days to reply to it though.

    Thanks for your time,

The first question was for my best friend, I am still setting up my dmp and had never really thought about unenforcability. My mate said I should try it but Im just happy to be dealing with things to be honest.

    Thanks again :)
