FTB - how long does mortgage approval usually take?

  • Mine was with Nationwide and it took 6 weeks but I am self employed and it was a bit of a headache, fingers crossed we exchange today took 10 weeks in total but we are FTB with no chain on the property we are buying.

    I felt the same as you but the time will fly by

    I hope Halifax aren't as long as 9 weeks, my application is going in tomorrow and I'm desperate to move!!
  • Mines with PO any also been very quick :-) all the staff have been very helpful and acted quickly...! Would defo recommend them. Hope it all goes well :-)
