Locked out

I am locked out of Generali Towers (left my keys at home and Mrs Generali has taken the Generalissimos to Grandma's for dinner). Thus I am stuck at the bar in my local bowlo drinking too much beer and watching the Eng Bang cricket highlights.

I apologize for any deterioration of service over the next couple of hours.

Goodness, life is hell in Aus! I mean, no option but to go drinking...

Some on here might think you're rubbing it in, given they're slogging away at work whilst the sun is shining & oh, there's that chap in Aus in the pub!

    Not me though...;)
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

    LOL.

I'll shortly be heading out to get very drunk, and hopefully stay that way all weekend.

Normal service is unlikely to be resumed before Sunday.....

Well you don't have to run your excuse for getting drunk past us. I am sure the Mrs will buy it.

What is it about men and keys?
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

And its level of importance to the rest of us that it warrants an entire thread? ;)

Does that mean we're going to be denied the pleasure of your company all weekend Hamish? :D

ETA: Maybe he's gone already. :(

So, you get locked out of your house, you live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and have to go to a bar, yet you still have to log onto MSE rather than enjoying the ambiance... I do love you Gen but do you know how sad that sounds?

H just bought car insurance (read I just bought car insurance for H) and in the post came a key tag and £1500 worth of cover for losing his keys; replacement keys, locksmiths for my house and his car and even replacement vehicle cover for him.

I love these people. I feel this cover is going to cost them money at some point ;) They have no idea what they've let themselves in for.
