I have a head on me like a sive, I constantly forget to pay my bills etc, Direct debts are useless as I again forget about them and get fees etc, I have at least 15 creditors to pay every month and its really hard to keep track. Then the problem arises that because you forget to pay one they then charge a fee of ask for double the next month this then screws another creditor and the cycle continues, any advice appreciated

I write on the calender when I make a payment and how much but then I again can forget to do this:mad:  I need something like a computer programme than will pop up reminders etc when certain things need paid or 1 payment per month would be handier but I'd never get a loan to put everything into one repayment0 -
YOu need to make of list of who you pay and what amount.
then a note of the day you get paid any incomings.
Leave enough in bank to cover ALL your outgoings.

Or get a calendar and at the start of each month write in what you need to do and when. Make sure you hang it somewhere you can see it everyday and get in the habit of looking at it and planning when you're going to pay things etc. Direct Debit everything you possibly can, because then you only need to be aware of when it is coming out - you physically don't have to go into a bank or phone a company.
You need to get in the habit of making your finances organised a priority as otherwise you're going to end up making yourself extra work and paying out extra money. Good luck!Quit smoking 18/08/070 -
I was actually thinking about a debt managemnt program with Payplan, but they have a knack of missing me, and when I phone back no one is available, this has been going on for 2 weeks0

If so you could spend a bit of time putting details into the calendar and set it to remind you, say, one day or two days before you need to go to the bank to pay. You can set it to snooze as well and the alert will pop up on your PC.
I assume other applications use this kind ot thing too.
