Fixed rate Best deal ?

Ive considered my options carefully and have decieded that a 2 yr fixed rate suits me best . Looking around best deal i can see is a nationwide 2yr @4.97 % with a arrangement fee of £399.
Have i missed any better deals .
thanks in advance

  • I looked around for a good few weeks, ended up going with the Nationwide as they had the best deals with a well known bank that I was comfprtable with. Ended up going for the 5 year fixed rate to save on more reservation fee's etc in a few years time but I'd happily recommend the NW deals to anyone.

Obviously do a proper search but I would be 90% certain that Nationwide would be the best. Certainly were when I remortgaged last year, and also when my brother was looking at buying a flat earlier this year

Quite a good site for best buy tables of the various types of mortgage on offer
  • Heaven's I wish I was working again, £399 sounds great. The Woolwich want to charge £595 for 4.98% but you have to be locked in for 10 years.

If they had bothered to sell me the correct mortgage in the first place as it is I am gogin to have to extend my mortgage from 11 years to 14 left to run as the money is eaily spent when you have children
