Carpet cleaning

Right a challenge for you all

I have a light coloured carpet in my living room and it is minging .

BF insists on bringing in car and bike bits so now there are little oil stains and god knows else what smeared on it.

I also have a potty training 2 year old and a 3 year old jack russell.

So i need ideas for some sort of stain removal or something to help fade them, and some sort of smell odour removing thing.

any help appreciated - i dont want ot go down chemical route just yet but will later if i have to.

thanks in advance.

Also dogs bed stinks any ideas??
