Restons and CCJ

Hello to all,
Im a new poster but long time lurker, was hoping someone could offer any input on this matter.
Ihave just recieved a ccj for an MBNA credit card for £1997, the court has ordered i pay £31.00 per month, which is the amount i offered MBNA pro-rata which they refused then they passed the debt onto Restons who also refused this monthly amount.I have been paying £31.00 per month to MBNA and then to Restons for the last 8 months so the amount is not a problem i will continue to pay.
Today i have recieved another letter from the northampton court
( notice to transfer of proceedings). The claim has been transfered to my local county court for that court to deal with the claimants application for reconsideration. What does this mean? am i likely to have to go to court? What is it they are trying to gain by doing this?
I am at a loss and very worried by this, any input would be greatly appreciated, Thankyou.
