Hi - Do you use cashback sites like TopCashBack or Quidco? Worth looking at even when you are looking for new insurance quotes.
I changed gas/electric and I am getting £100 cashback in a couple of months.0 -
Hey Babes
Well done on posting, it takes a lot to do, so well done.
I'm no expert, but the immediate ones I can see are groceries and Entertainment. These are the ones within your control. £120 per month on 'weekend booze and food' is far too much if you're looking to reduce outgoings. you dont say how old your child is, but I presume they are quite young hence the childcare costs. Therefore £240 a month for food can be well reduced. Try shopping online through a cashback site, use voucher codes from the forum, and watch the bill go down!!
Also when looking at your insurance, again, go through Cashback site (Topcashback or quidco) becuaes you can get a decent amount cashback for insurances. I actually buy as much as i can online, through the sites, and in 6 months, I have money waiting for withdrawal that'll pay for xmas pressies.
Can you ebay anything or sell anything?
Also seeing APR's on the debts helps to show what should take priority. Also available credit, it may be u have available credit on a low interest card, with a big balance on high interest card...
Shop about for car insurance as well, looks like it could be a bit dear. Also, you're paying over £70 for landline and mobile, can these be reduced.
I know it looks like nit picking, but the little savings you can trim off every category on the SOA can make a massive difference to free income at the end of the month0
