Are Alloy wheels worth anything for scrap

I`ve got a set of old alloy wheels.......is there a decent scrap value to these.

I`ve got no idea................anyone had any dealings with this kind of thing.

depends on their condition [no of scuffs or chips / rust] and the manufacturer, first stop have a look in your local free-ads paper and ebay for anything similar... :rolleyes:

They are worth a bit for scrap - couldn't tell you what, but in my experience if they are in not too bad condition you'll get more for them by selling them. Consider something like eBay or FreeAds.

Depending on condition they are worth something as wheels. If they have tread left on the tyres even better. Wheels can be reconditioned for £25 each, so if they're still a desireable/classic style then you'll probably find a buyer for them.
