Remortgage or stick with NRAM SVR rate?

In what way is the suggestion about being on a repayment mortgage or making overpayments not constructive? I can't think of a better way out of the situation (assuming remortgaging isn't an option).badobsession81 wrote: »I do think posts like this are a little insensitive and not particularly constructive.
They are well intended and to the point.I hope they are well intended, but believe when you feel trapped by a situation it is sometimes difficult to see the way out - which is why people use this forum.
It is. It's also lower than others too.Speaking from experience with NRAM, the svr is higher than several other mortgages
I've worked my way out of negative equity. I didn't achieve it with online petitions.
So do you hit out at the world or do something practical?0 -
Understood. Maybe I got the wrong end of the stick.
I think it can be very daunting not knowing what the options are and hard to know if you're taking the right approach sometimes. Eg you could leave cc balances on min repayment and pay down the mortgage while rates are relatively low. Card aprs can often be fixed t 6.9 lob or 0%shuffles. Working out the best way is not always clear.0
